Well, it’s HOT, HOT, HOT! I don’t know about you, but I feel like the main course at the earth’s barbecue. Our family got a little respite as we took the whole gang to Alaska for a week. The 50-degree days felt wonderful.
Yea! It’s Fall! It may not feel like autumn outside but for the BLO, the fun fall activities are in high gear. I hope you have signed up for the September luncheon, it will be a very informative one. Wear your red, white, and blue, as we remember our military, and our first responders. The luncheon will also be your next opportunity to sign up for bus trips, including the Nutcracker Market, MJ (Michael Jackson) the musical, as well as Tina, the musical.
You will learn about the upcoming Holiday Happenings as well. The Week of December 5-9 will be jam packed with the traditional holiday favorites. There are 5 beautiful homes on the home tour this year and the days are TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY, this year, followed by the Holiday Ball on the Friday and Saturday evenings. Get the awesome details at the luncheon.
If you are a lady that has a side hustle and would like to showcase your items before the holidays, please email me at mfdoris@aol.com. I would like to assess interest in and participation for a small holiday market at the November lunch. Please let me know as soon as possible so I can make sure I reserve the space.

TINA Thursday, January 4, 2024 - Houston Hobby Center Broadway
The Tina Turner Musical. From her humble beginnings in Tennessee to her eventual rise to be crowned World Queen of rock n roll, this stage production was presented in association with Tina herself. Pam saw her in concert a few years ago and comments, “the Lady still got it!”

Hello fellow Bentwater Ladies! Thanks for allowing me to contribute to your amazing group. Your origination has been a staple of the community for many years. Mary Frances, asked that I share a little about myself and our family. My husband, Cameron Conway, and I met my senior year at Texas A&M University, while majoring in Biomedical Science. We just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in February! We found, and fell in love with, and moved to Bentwater 19 years ago when our daughter was 8 months old. I remember pushing Caitlin’s stroller up and down the streets, hunting for playgrounds in the backyard in hopes of finding fellow families with kids! It makes me smile to see the kid population growing in our community. She is now 19 years old and starting her sophomore year at Texas State University. Our son, Cameron Conway Jr. (CJ), is 14 and starting his freshman year at Montgomery High School. He, like his dad, loves golf, fishing, hunting, football, and negotiating curfew times. After college, I dove straight into the Real Estate industry, earning my Real Estate Appraiser Certification and Brokers License. I owned a successful Real Estate Appraisal company from 2009 to 2015 and transitioned into Sales full time once CJ started 1st grade. Since then, we have been blessed to help many clients buy and sell their dream home(s), lots, acreage, and commercial tracts. Cameron and I consider ourselves very blessed to live in Bentwater and actively seek out ways to give back. I was elected and served on the Bentwater POA & Advisory Committee from 2015-2019. I am very proud to have helped our Bentwater POA transition from a Developer elected POA to a Property Owner elected POA. My daughter and I, later my son and I, served on the Bentwater Volunteer Families Board for many years. Cameron also remains very active in the MGA and has served as both MGA President & Vice President in years past. Thanks for letting me share a little about myself and my family. Through the years, we’ve gotten to know so many neighbors, and consider some of them our closest friends. We love being able to call Bentwater ‘HOME’. Sincerely, Sarah Conway
